USMC Phantoms in Combat The USMC was unique in that it flew the Phantom primarily in the air to ground role in Vietnam. They performed Interaction, Armed Reconnaissance & Vital close Air support missions for the Marines on the ground. over 150 photos, 20 full colour paintings, 64 pages.
